As most of you know that follow my blog I began working at Northlake Elementary when Georgette was attending the pre-school there. Dalton and Georgette would go to work with me and when I was done at 11:30 I would pick Georgette up and we would go home together. The next year she was in kindergarten so we followed the same routine. Then last year Whitney started preschool at Northlake so for 4 out of 5 of my work days I would leave the school hand in hand with Whitney.
Well today, I left the school to walk out into the parking lot and had no hand to grab. Momma Morgan walked to the truck empty handed and I am not quite sure how I feel about this yet.

Monday began a new school year, which was nothing new to me! However, today was the first day of kindergarten for my baby. All day kindergarten at that! Here are a few pictures of my oldest two on their first day and some of Whitney today on her first day of school.There are a lot of first's for me this year and I hope I can survive. Leaving school empty handed and not checking on Dalton before I leave. I am trying to give him a little room to grow up, but boy is it hard to wait from 11:30 until 12:15 when I finally get the call to let me know his BG is ok. Mamma Morgan is trying to get over her control issues and boy is it tough! However, I am looking forward to an exciting year and I love working where my kiddos go to school!

Awe.... You're a Great Mom! Letting Dalton take that responsibility lets him grow up even more.
I can even think about my kids going to school and not knowing everything that is going on in their lives.... CONTROL
