JOHNSON FAMILY REUNION

JULY 30th, 31st and August 1st was the annual Johnson Reunion. It was a great time with good food and good company. The theme this year was TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME. They had a ton of activities that were played in tournaments to determine the winners. The kids had a ton of fun. Then thanks to the Allreds, we had an outdoor movie night with Prestons big screen and movie projector. Nicole brought the popcorn machine and cotton candy machine, it was great. Lots of good memories!

SWIMMING LESSONS

I figured since summer was almost over I better get the kids into swim lessons. We started July 20th and finished up on July 31st. It was great they took the last session before the pool opened for the public so we were able to stay after and swim for free almost every day for a few hours after. It helped that we took lessons with great friends, thanks Jen Willis and Jen Payne family for putting up with us for two weeks at the pool!

DAN DAN THE FIREMAN!

On 7/28/09 it was about 5:00 when I get a phone call from Dan saying he will be late getting home. His excuse was he was waiting for the fire department. On his way home he seen smoke which was then followed by flames. He ran to the door and no one answered, so he saw a garden hose turned it on and began spraying trying to control a fire until the fire department could get there. To his surprise he was able to put out the flames and maintain the fire to just the one side of the house. He came home and his adrenalin was still a going so he had to take us back over to show us the house. I snapped a quick picture to share the experience of my man Dan the fireman. Oh and by the way I guess his tardiness from work will be excused, the picture is the proof. LOL

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

On Sunday August 2nd Dan and I will have been married for 13 years. I won't be home so I wanted to take a minute and wish him an early Happy Anniversary. Wow, has time went fast 13 years! Love ya Dan.

FAITH IN A BRIGHTER FUTURE . . . 7/24/09

This years theme for the 24th of July kids parade was, Faith in a Brighter Future. Our primary asked our kids to dress up as an occupation that they want to be when they grow up. Dalton wants to be a professional baseball player, Georgette wanted to be a rodeo queen, and Whitney wanted to be Hannah Montana (Rock Star).

After the parade we went to dinner with the McCoy's and back to our house for fireworks. It was a fun evening with good food and friends. HAPPY 24TH UTAH!
