EASTER AT YUBA!

Our family tried something new this year! We went out of town for Easter weekend. Our chosen spot or should I say Dan's chosen spot was Yuba State Park. What a great choice. We loaded up the kids and left for Yuba on Friday. Once we arrived we took a mini tour and let the kids ride their bikes and stretch the legs after being in the truck for 3 hours. It was amazing, the campground was nice, small and clean. After dinner, my favorite part of camping because Dan takes over cooking detail, we fished, watched a movie and turned in for the day.

Saturday we woke with no schedule, that is unusual for our family, especially Easter weekend. It is usually scheduled every minute to fit both family activities in. We ate breakfast, played at camp, went fishing and just relaxed. After cooking hot dogs and smores on the fire it began to rain and it rained and rained and rained. We cooked dinner, watched a movie, played the playstation, colored, games and well just relaxed some more.

Sunday we woke and to our suprise the Easter Bunny found us and we even forgot our Easter Baskets at home, but he left us goodies anyway. He even left a little egg hunt out front our trailer on the grass and the kids hunted and hunted and hunted, but we still came up 1 egg short, I think the camp critters may have had something to do with it. Of course the last day was the sunniest we did not want to come home. Dalton wanted to fish some more, so Dan took him fishing and I stayed back with the girls so they could ride their bikes and I began camp clean up. It was an awesome trip, we had a great time. When we got home we cleaned up and went to dinner and took the kids to HANNAH MONTANA the MOVIE. What a great family weekend it was awesome, and yes Dan survied the Hannah Movie! LOL Hope you all had a wonderful Easter! You can check out the slide below for some pictures of the weekend! ENJOY!
